Vetter Stone Amphitheater


Opened in 2010, the Vetter Stone Amphitheater has been host to many well-known, accredited musical artists such as Willie Nelson, Trampled by Turtles, Old Crow Medicine Show, Jason Isbell, George Thorogood, Cheap Trick, Pat Benatar, and Merle Haggard. The Vetter Stone Company has donated over 1,500 tons of Minnesota Stone, creating the unique and natural looking amphitheater.

On the banks of the Minnesota River, The Vetter Stone Amphitheater in Riverfront Park, is the perfect venue for outdoor, summer festivities and is home to the popular local festival, RibFest, which is in it's 19th year and attracts over 20,000 people annually.

The Vetter Stone Amphitheater was named a top outdoor stage for concert goers in or near the Twin Cities. In 2013, The Vetter Stone Amphitheater was ranked fourth in a top 10 outdoor venue listing by Star Tribune. The review complimented the amphitheater's tiered limestone slab seating, grass lawn and the location of its beer and food tents. Also cited was the stage's theater-quality, woodsy setting and proximity to Mankato's historic downtown.
