The staff are great, they get the students excited and motivated to learn about topics they may never have considered. The meals are good, but they are not targeting my appetite, instead the appetite of a child. The kids learned to eat healthy portions yet not waste food. The trails are fun, the recreation activities are always exciting yet the students don't seem to realize that it is edutainment. The lake ecology class teaches very well how fragile the water system is. Now the young minds can determine how their decisions may impact more than just their immediate circle. Team building exercises are done add a great age to help the students prepare for the next stage in their learning careers. Gives potential leaders an opportunity to be leaders. Survival introduction is great to get kids to understand how challenging it can be to survive in a non digital environment. More kids need to have this expedience and education in their lives.

3rd year as a parent chaperone. Our school district is VERY fortunate to have LEC for our kids. These life and common sense skills can't be taught or tracked by standardized tests. Our kids come away with a respect for the environment and nature that is around them and throughout MN
