Super awesome hiking trails. Highly recommend going to the rock Knob. You get a great view of all of the neature. Only complaint I have is the maps along the trail are kind of confusing to read, but Google Maps does a GREAT job of making out the major trails. I'd suggest using that (we all had great phone reception, which was a big plus as well)

Had a great first visit at Hartley! I went as a teacher/chaperone with the First Graders from South Ridge School. We learned about trees and birds and got to listen to a chickadee's heartbeat, live and up close against out ears. Wow! Great educators: they real know how to keep the children's attention. Thank you!

Love Hartley! Great trails and beautiful views. It's completely free and a wonderful spot for a picnic.

This is a lovely Duluth park with many trails that take you past a river and pond that allows you to bring your own canoe, a few trails bring you to the top of a hill that allows you to look down on the surrounding terrain while also offering a small glimpse of Lake Superior! Overall, this is one of my most favorite parks in Duluth and well worth the visit!

Great park and trail system however, there are way to many people with their dogs off leash.
