Starbuck Heritage Days Celebration

Heritage Days is an annual fun-filled weekend planned so family and friends can celebrate and commemorate Starbuck’s long and historic heritage. This year, there are over 35 different activities planned for your enjoyment.

Schedule:

All Day: Business Crazy Days
6:30am: 56th Annual “The Open”, Golf Invitational – 18 Hole Mixed Scramble – Minnewaska Golf Club. Open to Starbuck, Glenwood and Villard residents.
7:00am - 12:00pm: Fly in – Drive in – Walk in Pancake Breakfast at the Airport. Airplane rides available from Alex Aviation
7:30am: Registration for Heritage Days Color Run at the Swimming Beach Parking Lot
8:30am: Color Run begins
9:00am - 3:00pm: Craft Fair by Blok’s Barber Shop
10:00am - 1:00pm: MCHS Aux Bake Sale at MLH in the Commons. Serving Tacos in a Bag or BBQ Sandwich - Quilt Raffle Drawing at 1:00 pm
10:00am - 2:00pm: Inflatables for Kids at the Depot
10:00am - 2:00pm: Prairie Woods Rock Climbing Wall at the Depot
10:00am: Kids Pedal Pull Competition at the Depot
10:00am - 2:00pm: Clueless the Clown Balloon Twisting & Friendship Bracelets at the Depot
10:00am - 2:00pm: Jeanne Mix Temporary Tattoos at the Depot
10:00am - 12:00pm: Kindness Rock coloring by Craft Fair
10:00am - 2:00pm: Depot, Caboose, and Museum Open House. Food and Lefse Available.
10:30am - 1:30pm: Kiddie Carnival by the Depot.
11:00am - Shine and Show Car Show on West 5th Street. Hosted by The Tavern & Franny. Info at 320-805-0087
11:00am - 1:00pm: Hemker’s Zoo to You at the Depot.
12:00pm: 3rd and final clue, Find the Lefse Medallion
2:30pm: Miss Minnewaska Visiting Royalty Queen’s Tea at the Starbuck Community Center
5:00pm: GRANDE DAY PARADE - Grand Marshals Harvey and Dianne Pederson
5:30pm: Meat Raffle at the Starbuck VFW
6:00pm: Music by Riley Spindler at Starbuck Park Band Shell
6:30pm: (Following the Parade) – 18th Annual Miss Minnewaska Pageant/Coronation at Starbuck Park Band Shell
10:00pm: FIREWORKS! Starbuck Airport
