Annual Cancer Cruise of Sibley County

The 12th annual Cancer Cruise of Sibley County will be held on Saturday, June 3 at the Arlington Community Center (204 Shamrock Drive, Arlington, MN 55307). All proceeds raised at the event will benefit Annie Ballalatak from Arlington, who was recently diagnosed with stage II breast cancer. Annie is a mother of nine children, and just became a grandmother in January. She is very active in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Arlington, the Council of Catholic Women, and especially in church youth activities. Funds raised will be used to pay Annie's medical bills and everyday living expenses.

We will start the morning off with at 10:00 am with a vendor fair and bake sale. We also do a car show [ANY street legal vehicle is welcome] and end the day with about a 60-mile cruise through the eastern part of Sibley County. Vehicles are welcome to come and line up for the cruise any time after 10 AM.

We do ask for a suggested donation of $10 per vehicle and will gladly accept donations from spectators attending the event.

A-Town Tavern will be again grilling up some yummy eats for you to enjoy while you attend (these food sales do NOT benefit the Cancer Cruise recipient).

The Cancer Cruise is organized by the local non-profit group Community Giving Hope. We do NOT keep any 'administrative fees' for organizing these events. 100% of the funds we raise, gets paid out directly to the recipients medical and every day living expenses.
