It’s on December 28, making it a go-to option for people who want to ring in the new year with a bit of fun but want to avoid the chaos of traveling on the actual holiday.

New Year’s Eve Celebration, Jacques’ Restaurant and Bar, Minneapolis, MN

The $45 entry fee at Jacques’ Restaurant and Bar includes light hors d’oeuvres and a celebratory toast at midnight. There will be live music throughout the night by Mill City Jazz, so come on down at 8 p.m. and stay a bit past midnight to countdown and ring in the new year with drinks, food, and friends.

New Year’s Eve on Ice, Roseville Skating Center, Roseville, MN

The New Year’s Eve on Ice celebration lasts from 2:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Admission is only $8, and it’s a great way to celebrate with your friends, family, and kids—or even by yourself! You can skate indoors or outdoors and take part in the door prizes and concession stands. New Year’s Eve at the Rebel Room, Excelsior, MN

This year the Rebel Room will be having their first ever New Year’s Eve party, so why not stop by? The celebration starts at 7 p.m. and features live music by Maryann and the Money Makers. Champagne toasts will occur twice during the night—one at 9 p.m. and one at midnight after the countdown. Passed hors d’oeuvres and desserts will be available all evening, and tickets cost $50 per person.
