Schedule of Events:

1:00 PM - 3:00 PM: Coloring Contest

Kids it is time to get serious!  Serious about fun.   Color your best and you could win an Anoka Halloween Ribbon and bragging rights for a year!  Rumriver Art Center has created coloring sheets  that are all about Halloween spirit.

Spider races, pin the heart on the skeleton are a couple of other activities children can participate during the contest.  This is a free event for ages 3-17.  An adult must be present with all children 14 and under.

3:00 PM - 4:00 PM: Children’s Pumpkin Carving Contest

Little ones welcome to join in the fun. Create a small pumpkin using nature as your pallet.

Free to the first 100 children ages 3 to 12. Judging begins at 4:15pm.

Location: Akin Park, 1721 River Avenue, Anoka, MN 55303.

7:00 PM: Light Up the Night Parade

The lights on Main Street turn down low to showcase one of kind floats with lights. Participants are from all over our state and Wisconsin provide entertainment for our spectators.

With a full line-up of colorfully lit floats, this parade is always a crowd favorite. Join us and Light Up the Night!

The parade starts at 7 PM at the corner of 1st Ave and Main St. Spaces along Main St. can be reserved after 4 PM.

8:00 PM - 10:00 PM: Bonfire

Join us after the Night Parade at the River Plaza (City Hall) to warm up your tootsies. Bonfires, food and music for all ages to enjoy.
